Diary:   A good journey to Basildon saw myself and my brother arrive early for the  mini convention. Doors were a bit late opening, probably due to a couple of the guest arriving a bit late. Brian Blessed was applauded while strolling across the car park through the queue of attendees. Once inside we had  a quick bite to eat, and bumped in Michael Sheard on his way to the bar. He seemed most disappointed the bar was to close at 3pm. The guests answered questions for around about an hour before posing for several group photos. Then it was autograph time. I was partially pleased to get Brian Blessed and Dermot Crowley.
